Who you're buying from

afterkard, a trading-card business based in Singapore.

These terms apply to everything you order from the shop. Placing an order means you accept them.

Prices and availability

• All prices are in Singapore dollars and include GST where it applies.
• Shipping is added at checkout and shown before you pay.
• Card prices move with the market. The price you pay is the price shown when you place your order — we won't charge you more afterwards.
• Most singles and every graded slab are one-off items. Once one sells it's gone, and the listing comes down.

Very occasionally a listing carries a genuine error — a price or description that's clearly wrong. If that happens we'll contact you before dispatch and you can confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We won't quietly ship you something other than what you ordered.

Your order

An order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm dispatch — that's when the contract is formed. Until then we may decline an order, for example if an item turns out to be out of stock, if we can't verify the payment, or if we suspect fraud. If we decline, you get a full refund.

Payment

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your card number. Your order is dispatched once payment clears.

Delivery

We ship within Singapore, tracked, typically 2–4 working days from dispatch. Rates and packing are set out in full on the shipping and returns page.

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Delivery estimates are estimates — we can't control the courier, and a delay in delivery isn't a breach of these terms.

Returns

Sealed product may be returned within 7 days if unopened and still factory-sealed. Singles and graded slabs are final sale. If an order arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, we'll replace or refund it. The full policy, including how to make a claim, is on the shipping and returns page.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under Singapore law.

Condition and authenticity

Every card we sell is genuine. We don't knowingly list counterfeits, proxies or altered cards, and if one ever reaches you we'll refund it in full whatever the sale terms say.

Raw singles are described and photographed individually. Condition language is our honest assessment, not a grade — if you need a guaranteed grade, buy a slab. Small manufacturing variances such as centring, print lines and edge wear are normal for trading cards and aren't defects.

Graded slabs carry the grade assigned by PSA, BGS or CGC. That grade is theirs, not ours: we pass on what's on the label, and we don't warrant that a regrade would produce the same number. We sell slabs sealed in their original case and we don't open them.

Sealed product is sold as manufactured. What's inside a booster box is down to the manufacturer's random distribution. We don't weigh, search, or guarantee any particular pull, and a disappointing box isn't grounds for a return.

Selling your cards to us

Our buy-back list shows what we're buying and roughly what we're paying. Any figure on that list, or any number we give you over WhatsApp before seeing the cards, is an indication and not a binding offer.

• A firm offer is made only after we've inspected the actual cards.
• You must own the cards and have the right to sell them.
• Either side can walk away before payment is made.
• Once we've paid and taken the cards, the sale is final.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself and let us know if you think someone else has got into your account. We may suspend or close an account that's being used fraudulently or abusively.

Our liability

We're responsible for getting you the item you ordered, in the condition described. Where we fall short, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

We're not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example, a change in a card's market value after you buy it, or profit you expected to make on resale. Card values go up and down; that risk is yours.

Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Intellectual property

afterkard is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Panini, Topps, PSA, BGS or CGC. Product names and images belong to their respective owners and are used to describe the items we sell.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If you have a problem, message us first — we'd far rather fix it than argue about it.
